I started performing*, when I was around 14, becoming involved with a small local Musical Theatre company. As I gained confidence on the stage I began looking for more challenging opportunites, and I joined the National Youth Music Theatre as one of 8 girls in their production of 'The Hired Man' at The Other Palace Theatre. After this amazing experience of working with an incredibly talented cast and creative team, I knew that I would be striving to work professionally in the performance industry.
A year later I joined the National Youth Theatre, and that same year I auditioned and gained a place at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama when I was 17. I have now just graduated from Central, and have been lucky enough to have some wonderful opportunities already, but I will always be pushing myself to new heights and looking for new challenges.
*not including the two primary school productions in which I played a wine bottle and a lizard
